Mark Twain once said: “if you make peo­ple think that they’re think­ing, they will love you….but if you really make them think, they will hate you.” Adopt a stu­dent mind­set and sus­pend pre­con­ceived notions. Biases come from the old world pro­gram­ming. They inhibit crit­i­cal think­ing, rea­son­ing skill, and the abil­ity to pay atten­tion to detail.
